With assistance from the University of Nancy, University Hospital Saarland Homburg (UKS) was founded in 1947. The hospital offers top-notch medical services for both adults and children. The Molecular Genetic Laboratory, part of the Faculty of Medicine II, performs these studies in compliance with international standards.
